Became a Professor in the field of entomology in Canada in 1930's. A pioneer and principal organiser of veterinary and medical entomology. He was a Fellow of the Royal Entomology Societies of Canada & America and wrote over 110 entomology papers for the Canadian Government. Specialising in mosquito control.
